Beth Carlson

For Beth Carlson, painting is a dedication to the light and spirit of the natural world. Based in Litchfield County, she translates the vibrant sunsets of Warren and the quiet beauty of Lake Waramaug into immersive oil paintings. Beth's work is a testament to her surroundings, informed by a career in graphic design and a lifelong love for the outdoors. From the rolling hills of Connecticut to the coastal light of Cape Cod, her art invites the viewer to experience the landscape through a lens of technical mastery and deep personal inspiration.

Beth studied illustration at Paier College of Art in Hamden and attended workshops and classes taught by fine artists at the Washington Art Association in Washington Depot. Beth also studied graphic design at Northwestern Connecticut Community College in Winsted and made a living in that field at The Litchfield County Times where she was involved with the production of many award-winning publications.
