MaryJane Magoon

MaryJane Magoon grew up in the upper peninsula of Michigan. After residing in different areas of the Midwest she settled in Connecticut. She has three great sons and seven wonderful grandchildren. Presently, she lives in Sherman, CT with her husband and two cats.

MaryJane has a background in Interior Design and is a certified color consultant with a passion for color.

Watercolor is her choice of medium. "I am especially inspired by transparency and natural flow of the watercolor paint. Living in rural CT, there is a never ending source of everyday objects to paint."

MaryJane is a member of Gallery 25 in New Milford, Society of Creative Arts of Newtown, New England Watercolor Society, Northeast Watercolor Society, and the Kent Art Association.
