Winter Show

Opening Reception Friday, February 12 from 4–7 pm

The Gallery 25 Members’ Winter Show will open with a reception on Friday, February 12 from 4-7. The new show features a collection of fine art and artisan works on a mostly winter theme, all created by local artists. All works are for sale and a portion of the proceeds benefits the gallery. The featured artist during this show is New Milford artist, Lorraine Ryan, whose art career includes both fine art and illustration. Her show with Gallery 25 focuses on local farms and barns. Lorraine explains she hopes her passion for the subject raises awareness of their unfortunate and rapid disappearance.

On this same evening, "On the Hunt", our neighbor at 17 Church Street, will open its new upstairs gallery featuring one of the largest selections of antique oil paintings and prints in the area, including works from Sidney Dickinson, Herbert Steinke, Donald Zolan, and Harley Bartlett, in addition to their wonderful antique marble and bronze sculptures.
