Watercolor Journaling

Thursdays, October 22–November 12 from 1:30–4:30 pm

Watercolor journals are a great way to capture unique images of meaning in a short period of time and will add a new dimension to your travels. Through demonstration and individual instruction, this workshop with local watercolorist Diane Dubreuil will focus on developing your watercolor journal for traveling or simply for fun. Diane will demonstrate various drawing techniques and lead students step-by-step through the stages of laying in transparent watercolor washes, color mixing, value studies and more. She will share examples of journals from her own travels and of the local New Milford area.

Participants are required to provide their own art supplies, and a materials list will be emailed after registration. This class will include outdoor painting, weather permitting.

The cost for this workshop is $100.00. Class size is limited, so please pre-register.
